Hi Everyone,

Sorry about the delayed post, but my Internet is down at home.

I spent yesterday afternoon birding Davidsonville Park and Sands Road Park in Anne Arundel Co. The major highlight was an immature CONNECTICUT WARBLER at Davidsonville. It was foraging in a scrubby area with lots of jewelweed and pokeweed on the west side of one of the main ponds.

Here's a Google Map link to the location in the park:
http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?hl=en&ie=UTF8&msa=0&ll=38.937848,-76.685847&spn=0.002908,0.004812&t=h&z=18&msid=106548231481113195986.0004905fd347a36843ff9

Also of interest were an even 40(!) LITTLE YELLOWs (butterfly), Blackburnian Warbler (1), Yellow-breasted Chat (1), Northern Waterthrush (3), Western Palm Warblers (3), Veery (1), etc. The butterfly diversity and density was really impressive.

At Sands Road, I counted 22 Western Palms, 5 Bobolinks, 3 Eastern Meadowlarks. It was my first visit to this location, and I can't wait to return in October.

Good birding,

Bill
