A beautiful day to be out. Started at Rockburn and had 160 BROAD WINGS in about 20 minutes. Migrants were slow but we did find a MARSH WREN and SWAMP SPARROW at the DNR field at the end of Race Rd in Elkridge. Most amazing were the butterflies in the meadow. A very conservative estimate of 300 BUCKEYES (and more likely 4-500 but we gave up counting!). A CHECKERED SKIPPER was a treat.
