Hello Maryland Birders,

Although it was a reduced effort from 2009, Bird Blitz 2010 still
targeted several candidate Important Bird Area sites across the state
with surveys for at-risk bird species. One of these areas was the
Susquehanna River corridor in Harford and Cecil Counties. Three
volunteers and Audubon staff surveyed the forests at this site with
results indicating the importance of this area for Cerulean Warbler, a
highly at-risk forest interior bird.
