Hi all --
Generally pretty slow for migration -- not surprising given the hot muggy
conditions and unfavorable winds of the last 3 days. Only a few birds moving
just after dawn -- handful of Blue Jays, Flickers and Robins. Assume the
nocturnal migrants we saw today are primarily hold-overs. The paucity f
warblers was made up by having really nice looks at most. The biggest
surprise was a WHITE-THROATED SPARROW -- seems early.
