Pretty good day earlier today. After seeing a kettle of about 450 Broadwings at Cromwell, I quickly left for my old hawkwatch. As soon as I got there at 1030am, I saw probably about 2000 BW way far to the south over the trees and unable to count it due to distance and trees in the way. If I had got their earlier, I would've had over 5000 Broadwings today. Would've got some help on clear day. Many are very high. Last week while in Wildwood, NJ I would have about 10,000 more during that time.

Earlier today - First kettle of 522 before 11am and more continue and then single bird every couple minutes. Good day for eagles with 11 total.

If had time for full day each day since Aug, total raptors would be 17,000 by now with roughly 15,000 Broadwings and 2000 other raptors. On my final full year in 2000 I had over 15,000 Broadwings and 4000 other raptors due to more hours each day.
