On 9/25, while wandering around the abandoned farmstead at Woodstock
Equestrian Park south of Dickerson, was pleasantly surprised when my dog
flushed a quail out of a weedy area atop an old bldg foundation. Other than
McKee-Beshers escapees, this is my first MoCo Northern Bobwhite since a few
were heard at Blue Mash summer 2005.

The abandoned farmstead is on the William Rickman side of Woodstock
Equestrian Park. If traveling towards Dickerson along Rte 28 its the
entrance on right hand side.
