Hi all --

We went over to Wheaton regional Park today an found it unexpectedly slow,
considering the clear night. Only a few migrants recorded:

Birds of interest:

Red-shouldered Hawk- 1
RUBY-THROATED HUMMINGBIRD - 1 (getting late)
Eastern Phoebe - 8
Brown Thrasher - 1
Gray Catbird - 10 or so (numbers have really declined)
Scarlet Tanager - 2
Blue Jay -- 30 or so flying south
Red-eyed Vireo - 2
Ruby-crowned Kinglet - 8
Golden-crowned Kinglet - 1
Black-throated Green Warbler - 3
Northern Parula - 1
Common Yellowthroat - 6
Indigo Bunting - 1

Barry then went over to Upper NW Branch Park and recorded some more
activity:

Red-shouldered Hawk - 2
Mourning Dove - 100+
Eastern Phoebe - 10
Palm Warbler - 3 (all yellow)
Common Yellowthroat - 8
LINCOLN'S SPARROW - 1
Swamp Sparrow - 1
Song Sparrow - 8 (low)
Indigo Bunting - 10
