Birded Greenbury Point in Annapolis this morning from about 8 - 11:30 am. Some notables included my first Red-throated Loon of the season (flyover), as well as 2 White-crowned Sparrows in a large sparrow flock that contained White-throated, Swamp, Field, and Song. Also had Savannah and Chipping separately. Saw 2 Brown Creepers (FOS), big flocks of of Yellow-rumps, and several Palms, including one Eastern (yellow) Palm. Also had singles of Black-throated Green and Magnolia Warblers. Additional highlights were Scarlet Tanager and Indigo Bunting (haven't seen one in a while), Red-breasted Nuthatch, Ruby-crowned Kinglet, and several Bluebirds.. There were tons of Phoebes, Catbirds, Blue Jays, and Flickers everywhere. 49 species for the morning. Full list below.
