Birdy afternoon at Wheaton Regional Park. Best bird was a Red-Breasted
Nuthatch. Also note Brown Creeper and Palm Warbler. Good numbers of
Phoebes and B-t Blues. It appears the field with the mini-railway and
surrounding scrub is still very active. All species listed below were
found there except Osprey, B-t Green and Parula. Counts are lower
estimates.

Osprey 1
Chimney Swift 10
Eastern Wood-Pewee 2
Eastern Phoebe 6
Red-breasted Nuthatch 1
White-breasted Nuthatch 5
Brown Creeper 1
Golden-crowned Kinglet 4
Ruby-crowned Kinglet 5
Northern Parula 1
Black-throated Blue Warbler 5
Black-throated Green Warbler 1
Palm Warbler (Yellow) 2
American Redstart 1
Common Yellowthroat 7
White-throated Sparrow 1

A Palm Warbler was also in my 'yard' today - Hanging out with the
House Sparrows and Starlings, although keeping them at a comfortable
distance.
