There were...
-5 DUNLIN this morning foraging in the grass at the edge of the beach
at the Northern-most parking area, nearest the lighthouse.
-500+ TREE SWALLOW swarming over the point... always an impressive
fall spectacle to witness.
-2 SANDERLING on the beach near the jetty (same area as the Dunlin).
-A few FORSTER'S TERN and one CASPIAN rounded out the morning, along
with the usual suspects.
-One flyover shorebird calling like a dowitcher, but I can't be
certain and the look I got was less-than-optimal.
Good Birding,
