Cool and cloudy with south winds today. There were lots of "LBJs" I could
not identify, and at least one warbler-ish bird whose yellow abdomen I had
only the briefest look at. I really need to learn flight notes!
The grass is greener than it was during all of September. There were small
emerald-colored grasshoppers, a buckeye, some sulfurs, and about ten
monarchs.
