After reading about the possible fledgling Chipping Sparrow, I started 
paying a bit closer attention to the bird activity in the yard.
Yesterday I watched 3 Goldfinches all begging for food from Mom, all 
cheeping (?) and all fluttering wings.  Mom ignored them and one flew down 
to peck at the sunflowers.  I know Goldfinches nest late, but is this late 
for them?
