Man, welcome to fall! One day you've got hummingbirds at your feeders, with tropical winds pushing temps into the 80's, next thing you know the yellow-rumps and juncos have arrived and it's a chilly mid-50's! Nothing like a change of seasons overnight...
My first of season junco (today) was the earliest in my yard for October by 11 days. Loads of chippies around, as well as bluebirds, White-breasted Nuthatch, Eastern Phoebe, a pair of Carolina Wrens, Blue Jays overhead with lots of robins too.
Enjoy the weather while it lasts. More rain next week.
