I spent 3 hours this morning, Monday, October 11, 2010 at Lake
Artemesia, College Park, Prince George's County. The most unexpected
bird was a late, silent Empidonax flycatcher. My ability to identify
species in this genus is poor and my view was short. All I can say is
the bird appeared gray rather than green and it had a complete, distinct
eyering. If anyone is interested in searching for it tomorrow, it was
on the peninsula, at the east end of the overgrown area.

Also of possible interest were a Parula, a Rose-breasted Grosbeak, two
White-crowned Sparrows and 3 Rusty Blackbirds.
