Hi Everyone,

Not many migrants were moving through Bayside and Bayside Campground on Assateague this morning (14 Oct 2010); but there is always something happening on Assateague, and Lauren Hendley and I counted egrets, herons, and cormorants, and noted some new arrivals for us here this fall:  2 HORNED GREBES, 1 ad male BLACK SCOTER, 1 WINTER WREN, 3 GOLDEN-CROWNED KINGLETS, and 3 DARK-EYED JUNCOS.  The hawk watches at Cape Henlopen and Ashland Nature Center in DE showed similarly low levels of migration today.
