Earlier today I led a group of birders and nature enthusiasts around the
grounds of Irvine Nature Center. We enjoyed seeing a couple of
Black-throated Blue and Palm Warblers up close. Other highlights included
two Blue-headed Vireo, several Tree Swallow and some very cooperative
Chipping Sparrows and Eastern Bluebirds. A few birders added Savannah and
Vesper Sparrow to their list.
