Karen and I had a pretty good morning in our backyard. We had 
a male Purple Finch, a female Red-breasted Nuthatch, a female Towhee, 
and a female Cooper's Hawk. We also had our second consecutive day of 
Dark-eyed Junco and White Throated Sparrow for this season and a dozen 
Goldfinches on the thistle and sunflower seed feeders. We had a brownie 
Purple Finch yesterday.  Finally, we had a red fox come by and lie down 
in the sun in the woods for a short time.
