On Saturday while I was trying to herd puppies into the house, I heard a
Black-capped Chickadee calling in the yard -- the typical slow and
deliberate Chicka-dee-dee-dee that I grew up with in Maine. However, despite
careful feeder watching, it never joined the several Carolinas while we were
home. But still looking!
