Hi All,
As announced last week, the November meeting of the Kent County Bird
Club is Tuesday, 9 November at 7:30 PM at Heron Point in Chestertown.
After our brief meeting, David Ziolkowski from Harford County will
present a program titled "Panama's Canal Zone - Pulling the Tails of
Natural History in a Land of Winged Jewels and Poo-Slinging Monkeys."
With that colorful title, it is sure to be an entertaining program. We
hope you can join us for the meeting and light refreshments afterwards.
On Saturday, 13 November, we will travel to Assateague Island to look
for sea ducks, late shorebirds, and gannets at the beaches and marshes,
and late migratory land birds in thickets and dune woodlands. We will
meet participants at 8:00 AM in the Dollar General parking lot in
downtown Chestertown for car-pooling. Dress warmly and bring lunch for
this all-day trip.
