Hi all --

A pretty autumn day, albeit bit blustery - definitely an autumnal selection
of birds as well -- all the neotropicals seem to have headed for warmer
climes, but still some nice birds about. We also checked out Brookside
Gardens but it was quiet save for about 30 or so Robins gleaning holly
berries.

Birds of interest:

Great Blue Heron - 2
Red-tailed Hawk - 3
Cooper's Hawk - 1
Accipiter sp. - 1
Northern Flicker - 4
RED-BREASTED NUTHATCH - 1
Eastern Bluebird - 4-5
Hermit Thrush - 2
Golden-crowned Kinglet - 3
Cedar Waxwing - 6
Winter Wren - 4
Song Sparrow - 25+
White-throated Sparrow - 25+
Swamp Sparrow - 2
Chipping Sparrow - 15
Dark-eyed Junco - 70+
FOX SPARROW - 5
Common Grackle - 2

Where are the Yellow-rumped Warblers?
