Hi All,

The Kent County Bird Club will have a trip to various waterfowl venues
in the county including several public landings in search of ducks and
geese. Waterfowl migration seems to have been building only slowly this
autumn, but we'll see what we can find. Geese have been numerous
including sightings of all of the rare but regular adjuncts such as
Greater White-fronted Goose, Ross's Goose, and Cackling Goose. Dabblers
are also numerous, but good numbers of Bay Ducks and Sea Ducks have yet
to materialize. Perhaps this will be the weekend. We also hope some
swans will be in.

We will meet folks in the parking lot of the Dollar General store
between Washington Ave (MD-213) and Philosopher's Terrace in Chestertown
at 8:00 AM. We expect this to be a little over a half day's outing.
Sunday is slated to be sunny with temperatures in the mid-50s F. with
morning temperatures in the 40s, so wear layers and bring a snack. We
hope to see you on Sunday morning.

Good birding,

Walter Ellison & Nancy Martin
