I followed up on the ducks seen earlier today by Dan Rauch and Tom Jones at
the Tidal Basin.  Just before sunset I saw the HORNED GREBE seen by Dan this
morning with the 10 Buffleheads and 3 Ruddy Ducks well as good numbers of
the usual Herring Gulls, Ring-billed Gulls, Greater Black-backed Gulls, and
a handful of Laughing Gulls.  A quick swing through East Potomac Park turned
up a COMMON LOON swimming in Washington Channel.
