Still there at 1210pm but it flew out to the back over rolling hills closer to new route 30 bypass. Unable to find it from shoulder of new route 30 bypass. I was closeby at jeanne bowman's feeders near prettyboy reservoir. Lots of doves in that fields and a few blackbird flocks. - Kevin Graff

Sharon Schwemmer just called me to report finding a Sandhill Crane in
Hampstead, Carroll Co. It is in a field on the north side of Route 482 (the
Hampstead-Mexico Road) opposite North Carroll High School and about a half
mile west of old Route 30 and just east of Route 30 the new bypass. There is
no place to pull over here and Sharon said she had to stop in the median
strip to satisfy the local cop.
