Today (11/24) I drove the back roads of NE Frederick and NW Carroll Counties. Highlights were two Black-capped Chickadees near the north end of Shriver Road (Frederick County), three Northern Harriers including a male seen midway along Shriver Road, and two adult Red-headed Woodpeckers in a small woods along Ruggles Road about 1 mile west of Route 194 in Carroll County. There were a few White-crowned Sparrows in various locations. I only saw one Horned Lark along Sixes Bridge Road in Carroll and two fly over American pipits along Shriver Road.
