around 8:15 AM today from Bear Swamp Pool at Bombay Hook NWR,
as per its apparently usual foraging schedule.
Until then, it was a glorious sight in the early morning sunlight,
best seen from the Observation Tower.
From the top, look out over the pool of water toward the white
building and a single juniper on the horizon and drop your
scope down to the pool where it was hanging out,
~ at least it was this morning.
Reports have indicated that it usually returns in late afternoon.
