Sunday I took a trip to Assateague to see the Ash-throated Flycatcher. I found the Flycatcher (Lifer!) hawking grasshoppers In the same location as last reported. I took a few pictures of the flycatcher who was only a few feet from me. After a minute went by the Ash-throated Flycatcher flew across the road into the campgrounds and out of sight. soon after, I teemed up with other birders and went around the campground in hops of finding the flycatcher and Northern Shrike. The Ash-throated Flycatcher was re found and was seen by all. No sign of the Northern Shrike. Thanks Joe Hanfman for finding this wonderful bird!
