I understand your anger, Eileen.  I imagine the closing of the trails is for
your protection, a sad commentary on the skills and knowledge of the local
hunters.

You should know that hunting is not allowed in Maryland on Sundays, so that
would be a good time to go for a birdwalk there.

Alternatively, you could use this as an opportunity to expand your
repertoire of good birding locales across the state!

Maybe I will buy a fake bow and take to the trails that way. Oh, I guess I
need a hunting permit and fishing permit too.  But at least I will not throw
out any deer carcass and fishing line but I will be able to watch the birds.
