Like many others, Victoria McCallum and I gave chase to the assateague ash-throated flycatcher today. We had a bit of a late start this morning, but the flycatcher was still cooperative and made an appearance at around 11:30. We then drove to the end of the road and walked around bayside where another highlight was a flyover glossy ibis. The bird was flying west to east, so it may have put down somewhere, but we did not relocate it.
