Hi all just a quick report to say that on Friday 12 - 10 - 10 Bill Harris , Karen Harris and myself went to Assateague to look for the Shrike and the Ash Throated Flycatcher . The Shrike was no where to be found . But we did find the flycatcher with the help of another birder who located it just as we were exiting the the car . It was just before the parking area to the Life Of The Marsh Trail . Near the bridge to the Island there was one Western Willet . Latter in the afternoon we went to the Ocean City Inlet were there were about 8 Bonaparte's Gulls 3 Common Loons and 1 Common Eider . Resting and napping on the beach till a jogger flushed them were about 11 BLACK SKIMMERS with a flock of about 80 Rock Pigeons . Also presant where Purple Sandpiper and Ruddy Turnstones, Brant and other assorted Gulls .
