Hello,
Yesterday, I spent some time watching my yardbirds and looking at all the chickadees. I saw one that seemed different from the back. It had a prominent white line on each side of its wings. It moved too fast to get a good view of the front. But, I do not see the same kind of white lines on the other chickadees. Could it be the Black Capped Chickadee?
Other yard birds included a lot of Carolina Chickadees, lots of Tufted Titmouse, Bluejays, Cardinals, Juncos, Goldfinches, White Breasted Nuthatch, Red Breasted Nuthatches, White Throated Sparrows, American Crows and a beautiful Pine Warbler.
