The Black-headed Gull first appeared about 08:55, after I had waited there
for about half an hour. I ran into Kye on the way out.
Also of interest, I counted 100 even of Black Ducks, one Black/Mallard
hybrid (I think), about a dozen Green-winged Teal, three dozen Ringbilled
Gulls. I didn't count the Mallards, though more than a few flew out with 85
or so Black Ducks that flushed when I emerged from the woods. Song,
White-trhoated, and Swamp Sparrows present, plus one Winter Wren.
