Hi Everyone,

I am posting the following for David Hollie of Ringgold, GA. I have already responded to his questions, but I'm sure he'd appreciate input from others as well. His email address is near the bottom of the message.

Have fun,

MDOsprey Birders,

I'm a birder from north Georgia and will be visiting the Baltimore area the week after Christmas. I've come up with quite a few target birds and it looks like most of them are found pretty easily at Ocean City Inlet. So one of the days that I'm in Baltimore (probably Dec 30th or 31st) I'll head down to the Ocean City area for some birding. Any information or suggestions anyone can give me on how to bird the Ocean City area would be appreciated. My target birds are:

Brant
Black Scoter
Purple Sandpiper
Great Cormorant
Gulls (Little, Black-headed, and anything else interesting)

Is Great Cormorant a regular at OC? Looking at the eBird sightings they seem to be pretty irregular. Is there any other location that I could go to have a better chance (maybe even north into Deleware?). The others (besides the gulls) look pretty regular there so I'm not very worried about them.
I'm also interested in the Ash-throated Flycatcher if it is still present. Looking at eBird sightings again it looks like Snow Buntings are pretty regular at Assateague, is there a particular spot that gets them the most?
One last bird I'm interested in, American Tree Sparrow. I was looking at Lilypons Water Gardens which is on our way in to Baltimore. Is there any other place that is good for them?

Any info on the above locations/birds is much appreciated! My email is <mailto:[log in to unmask]>

Thanks,
