Today, sunny with temps in the low 30's, seemed like an invitation to
field test the new eyes, after 2 cataract op's, starting 29 Nov. (most re-
cent 20 Dec.). Contrails overhead quilted a pleasing design against a
clear, blue sky. Avian activity was predictably low, but it was a nice day
to be out...but, then, isn't that usually the case? No Golden-crowned
Sparrows or Shrikes, but a decent tally:
