Eared Grebe and Long-tailed Duck - Black Hills SP

The Eared Grebe was in the usual place at midday - I saw it from the Rt 121
bridge, in among Bufflehead and mergansers. Also, a female Long-tailed duck on
the eastern arm of the lake (Little Seneca Creek). 
 
I counted the waterfowl from six vantage points, the Hooded Merganser count of
184 is especially impressive (and conservative!)
