I just got back from visiting the Golden-crowned Sparrow. He was still present at 1 PM, a little harder to pick out this time because the size of the sparrow flock has grown-many White-crowned, White-throated and Juncos. Snow wasn't a factor at all. Mine was the only vehicle present so I did't even have to pull off the road. The GC was in the same location he's been frequenting, 30-50 ft. past the break in the hedge.
