I am not sure all the geese were flying to Black Hills (from the
Lilypons/Rt 
85 area). However they were all flying in the same direction-- southeast, 
flock after flock, over 400 Canadas -- and heading for MoCo. Snow Goose 
was a perfectly normal-looking white morph, grin patch et al. about 2/3 
size of Canadas but no trouble keeping up! No small Canadas 
however...did have one HUGE Canada, about 1/3 larger than its 
congeners, very obvious in flight.
