Encouraged by the eBird observation of three Brant at Loch Raven yesterday, I spent 
an hour scanning the lake this morning without finding them.  I scanned from the 
Picnic Area (Loch Raven Point - where they had been seen) and the nearby bridge on 
Loch Raven Drive.  

There were large rafts of waterfowl (mostly geese) that I couldn't scope well, 
and I didn't have the time to hike around the lake to get better looks.
