Leo,
Thx for pointing this out, I got the exact name of the Outlets wrong. It is Queenstown Outlets. The bird flew over the tree line near the white Queenstown water tower. This is at the 301 and 50 split, in between the two Highways.

Subject: [MDOSPREY] Evening Grosbeak flew over Queen Anne's Outlets today around 1600

I can't believe I am writing this as this is my most wanted bird to see, but I was watching two adult Bald Eagles while my wife shopped, and scoped around the pines for anything I could find (not much), and I was immediately drawn to a unfamiliar, but load and distinct flight call. I could make a silhouette of the bird and it was fairly large as it flew over the pines. I noted the call note it was making, and began looking into possible songbirds I wasn't familiar with. The call was dead-on for the beginning Evening Grosbeak recording on allaboutbirds.org. The size seemed to matched although it was a silhouette up high. I hate to send out something like this without a photo or close view, but I am convinced with what I saw and heard.

If there is anything else possible that this could be please let me know (It definitely wasn't a House Sparrow).
