I just went out in the blowing snow to sweep the walk and fill the
bird feeders. Upon approaching the feeders, the one finch that didn't
scatter, turned to look at me and it was a Common Redpoll. I finished
filling the sunflower feeder and it flew off so I filled the thistle.
I'm hoping it comes back and brings others.
