The shrike was located at the very end of the parking lot of the Life of the Marsh Trail in the Bayside Campground, at the top of the tallest tree ( sorry, to excited to ID the tree) 9:00am. We arrived just after dawn and did not spot it on our first rounds. After doing some seawatching, we headed back for another try at the shrike. We pulled into the parking lot, got out of the car and there it was.
