Cackling Goose in DC

Speaking of CACKLING GOOSE, I saw one this afternoon (Thurs, 1/13) in
amongst the large number of Canada Geese at Hains Pt. in DC.  I'm
assuming this is the same bird that Frank Hawkins found several weeks
ago (just before the DC CBC), but the first time I've finally caught up
with it.  Actually, this was the largest number of Canadas I've seen at
Hains this season, too.  Not sure where they've been hanging out in the
meantime.  The Cackler was with the Canadas in the Washington Channel,
and then a large number of them took flight to feed on the golf course. 
An adult BALD EAGLE buzzed the geese and they took off and returned to
the channel.  I did not see the Cackler in that flock, but didn't
scrutinize every bird either.
