Friday was the last sighting of the normally very vocal and easily viewed rufous hummingbird in College Park.  Seems likely she has moved on, presumably toward the Gulf Coast (even the most recent photos last week show her very plump and clearly well prepared for a long flight) or fallen victim to predation or accident.
