Hi

My Prettyboy yardbirds: I am still seeing the Pine Warbler, both nuthatches RB and WB, Pine Siskins, Cowbirds, Crows, Bluejays, Cardinals, Chickadees, Titmouse, Carolina Wren, lots of White Throated Sparrows, Goldfinches, Juncos, Downy woodies, RB Woodies and Mourning Doves.

And across the driveway into the watershed the Pileated Woodpecker and lots of Turkey Vultures and Black Vultures. I am also hearing an Owl just doing a who-who in the early morning.

I have been checking out the photos from my birdcam looking for shots that show the chickadees. I was hoping to find some of both the Carolina Chickadee and the Black Capped Chickadee.

Looking at my field guide , it says the black capped has rufous wash on its sides and flanks. I have been seeing some of this on my chickadees. Some seem to have a darker rufous color than others.

Can someone help tell me if the birds in my photos are Black Capped or Carolina? Or both?
