Walked up to American Legion Bridge from Lock 10 this morning to see if
Peregrine Falcon pair was still around. Saw 1 bird perched on green road
drainage tube near nest box on downstream side of bridge. Headed over to
Blue Mash around dusk (Zion Rd side). Walked to pond next to landfill. Ran
into Jared Fisher. We had occasional looks at a Short-eared Owl flying over
top of landfill until it got to dark to see. Might have even been 2 of them.
Jared also mentioned that he had a Northern Harrier before I got there.
