At 3:00PM today, after searching for 2 hours, I relocated the LOGGERHEAD
SHRIKE at Pickering Creek Audubon Center in Talbot County. I watched it for
about 35 minutes as it foraged in the tall grassy field along Sharp Rd
between Audubon Lane and the intersection with Todd's Corner Rd and
Presquile Rd. The bird perched atop numerous saplings and even a wood duck
box on one occasion. I last saw it in the tree (I believe a sycamore or
London planetree) next to the Audubon Center sign at the end of Audubon Lane
at Sharp Rd. It was great to see this sharp looking bird on my second try.

I also had the HARLEQUIN DUCK at Ft. Armistead from 8:15-8:45 this morning.
When I arrived, the bird was very close between the concrete wall and the
fishing piers. It was mixed in with a group of ducks including 2 Greater
Scaup, 2 Ruddy Duck, and 3 Bufflehead.

Between these two bookends, I searched for the Greater White-fronted Geese
along Rt. 309 north of Rt. 404. However, despite finding about 2500 Canada
Geese further north of yesterday's sighting, I found neither bird from
yesterday. Canada Goose numbers were notable; however, with easily 10-15000
between the Bay and agricultural areas in Queen Anne's and Talbot Counties.

Good birding!
