Went over to Riley's Lock on Potomac to look for Bonaparte's Gulls and a
Long-tailed Duck that were reported to eBird. No sign of Long-tailed but
found 3 bonies in and amongst some Ring-billed Gulls. The birds (almost
flying in place into strong wind and just a few feet off water) were way
across the river quite close to VA shoreline in vicinity of water intake
structure.

Near Great Falls at the upstream end of Conn Island, found 6 of the 8 Tundra
Swans that were reported to eBird yesterday by Mike Bowen.
