Hi everyone,

Spent some time meandering back roads on the mid-shore today.  Nothing
too rare or unusual.  Highlights include:

Northern Shoveler female -- Barren Creek (Wicomico County).  Viewed
from Fire Protection Rd, Mardela Springs.
Common Mergansers -- many viewed on the Choptank River between
Williston Landing and Denton (Caroline County).
Lesser Black-backed Gull -- Long Wharf, Cambridge waterfront.  1st year bird.
Rusty Blackbird -- 2  Feeding with a mixed blackbird flock in the town
of Nanticoke (Wicomico County).
