Joe and I were lucky to spend part of the morning admiring Patricia Rose's YELLOW-HEADED BLACKBIRD at close range through her back windows. Patricia and Tyrone have a lovely home and a very birdy yard! We missed some of the species seen yesterday and earlier today, but were pleased to have a FOX SPARROW and four PINE SISKINS drop by, and of course we were thrilled with the blackbird.

We spent most of the rest of the (frigid) day at Point Lookout, where the highlight was a quintet of REDHEADS (again, ducks, not people).
