MD Osprey:

I think the Laurel Monk Parakeets are the only parrots that are
hanging around MD and DC, right now, at least to my knowledge. I have
directly alerted the folks that are most closely following their
activities about this count.
If there are any other qualifying species present in MD or DC, please
let the count organizers (and MD Osprey) know. The end of Cove Point
Road in Calvert County used to be a place to find exotics (budgies
and Peach-faced Lovebirds) occasionally. However, these are not
hearty species ...
I could open a window and add three species to the count (or at least
one - the Red-lored Amazon that hates me), but the result would be divorce!!!
