The guest of honor arrived at 7:59am yesterday morning after being a no show
on Saturday.

The bird was in with a flock of brown headed cowbirds with a mix of red wing
blackbirds.

Eight birders were in my kitchen everyone got to see the bird several times
as it dropped to

the ground and flushed to the maple tree  just to drop down again.  Several
people took  

pictures and we all had a wonderful time sharing stories.  I have been sick
for several days

now and have not slowed down to care for myself so today and tomorrow that
is what I am

going to do.  Feel free to still come to visit the bird in my back yard as
it comes into the maple

tree then drops down right behind my house to feed.   

Note: the immature sharpie ended up on the pole to the right of the kitchen
window 

yesterday afternoon.
